International Headquarters regarding IDMR Disaster Relief efforts will be
posted on this Internet website and on the Intranet website or
distributed otherwise on behalf of the IDMR Disaster Relief Committee.
Hurricane Gustav - IDMR Branch School Closures
Due to Hurricane Gustav, the following IDMR Branch
schools in Southern Louisiana are closed until further notice: New
Orleans Westbank, Hammond, Donaldsonville, Baton Rouge, Lafayette
and Lake Charles. As of this posting on 9/1/08, all IDMR
members in the affected areas are doing fine. Updates will be
posted as additional information becomes available.
New Orleans and Westbank Membership Lists
The New Orleans and Westbank Membership Lists have been updated on the
IDMR Intranet Site to include the branch school or city location of
New Orleans and Westbank members. Members are still in the
process of relocating to various branch schools. The lists will
be updated as additional information becomes available. Please
poll the New Orleans and Westbank members in your branch regarding
listing of phone numbers in the directory. Please check the list
and send any updates to members@idmr.net
including a list of members who do not want to list their phone
numbers.
Disaster Relief Donations - International Headquarters and
displaced members are extremely grateful for the donations and other
assistance provided for Disaster Relief. A thank you letter has
been mailed to all branch schools and is posted on the Intranet
Site. It is no longer necessary to collect and submit Disaster
Relief donations to International Headquarters.
All Branch School travel restraints have been
lifted by Headquarters. This includes Special Events as well.

to visit and verify with them that they are able to accommodate

American Red Cross it is very
important that displaced
IDMR members register with the American Red

sign up in person. The benefits are
better if you register in person instead
of registering via the Internet.
